“Instead of trying to make your life perfect, give yourself the freedom to make it an adventure, and go ever upward. “
I remember growing up I had so many dreams, visions, and aspirations, that were unrealistic. (However, in my head it was all possible.) I wanted to be an actress and I also wanted to own my own restaurant. Turns out I am an average actress, although I did performance studies in college the idea of performing in front of a huge crowd is very daunting. As to having a restaurant I am an average cook and every-day I experiment with different recipes ( so that dream is still on the table for now).
It’s only recently that learned about my love of creating – outfits and dabbing into writing that I realized that sometimes planning ahead is not the way forward. A lot can happen to change your course of direction. So if you’re sitting there worried about the goals you haven’t achieved. Calm down, take a deep breath and relax. You have all the time in the world to explore all your talents. All I can say is trust your journey and your timing. Everything happens for a reason.
I used to have a bucket list of all the things that I wanted to do before I die. I lost that list and I felt a massive void in my life. However, I made a new list and I am going to share with you, my top 5 adventures that I wish to experience:
- Sky Diving
- Coast to coast across the united states: Driving from New York to LA (Route 66, Palm Springs, Washington, Grand Canyon)
- Climbing Europe’s third highest mountain Mont Blanc
- Shiretoko Wilderness: Cruise around the Shiretoko Peninsula spotting eagles and whales, canoe and fish on Lake Kussharo, hike up Mt Asahi, take a hot spring bath in Toya Onsen and spend time in the city of Sapporo.
- Sailing on the Dorian Coast, Turkey
Now, tell me what five adventures would you like to experience?
