Berlin was once a city that was literally divided in two by a wall, now the city has now evolved into a magnet for creativity. Many of the world entrepreneurs are being manifested in Berlin for clothes to technology.
There is something about the urban spaces and the vast areas of green space, rivers and canals that strikes up one’s inspiration. What I loved the most about Berlin is that when the sun is out, I found locals enjoying impromptu gatherings and picnics (reminded me of Harare Gardens). When the sun goes down, it’s time to party (for the party lovers).
The pictures in the post where taken just outside Konzerthaus. Konzerthaus is a beautiful concert hall in Gendarmenmarkt Square. Best known for the triple architectural force composed of the German and French cathedrals (Deutscher und Französischer Dom) and Schinkel’s Konzerthaus (concert hall) I was in awe of the beauty of the square and love how the scenery matched my outfit.
Some of the most high-end restaurants, businesses and hotels are located around the Gendarmenmarkt, especially around the streets of Charlottenstrasse. This is where I discovered Just a bite. They had the cutest cupcake café I have ever seen and the cupcakes where so delicious I wanted to buy the whole shop. Their cupcakes are 100% tasty and 100% natural.
I will continue my Berlin Adventure in the next post. Hope you enjoyed. xx
