Allow me to introduce you to my sister in style. The lovely Gracia Senga aka the lady who makes “perfect rice”. Gracia is a Congolese personal style blogger currently based in South Africa. I choose to feature her due to bold, creative style, her sense of humor, kindness and most of all she is the perfect example of how you can be trendy, stylish in your own skin and still share the grace of God. My favorite post from her (here) blog is the most inspiring story about her transformation (tomboy to style blogger) – shows that style is not something you are born with, you simply have to find what works best for you. Her Monday Male Features the best, stylish and interesting guys from around the globe. I hope you guys enjoy getting to know Gracia.
How do you structure your days?
I plan what I am going to do for the day the night before and I use a to-do-list (sometimes lol), it makes me feel more organized. I usually work on the most important tasks first and then move down to the not so important or urgent things.
Where and how do you work best?
I work best wherever I can be alone but my sanctuary is my bedroom. I love being in there alone, listening to music or dancing. I get a lot of ideas and inspiration in there, it’s amazing! I could be in my room all day every day and I wouldn’t be bored. Well, as long as there’s food in there then I am good. Lol!
What would you have done differently if you knew then what you know now?
I would have believed in myself and my abilities more.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
That I can do all things. Recently my mother has been reminding me of this every day!
Who are your biggest influences? Who do you admire most? Who or what inspired you to do what you’re doing now?
I like to say I am my biggest influence lol; that’s a thing right? Other influences are the people around me, the music I listen to as well as the shows I watch. But my greatest influence is Jehovah, the Creator of all things beautiful. I strive to live a beautiful life and constantly remind others that they are beautiful, especially when dressed in beautifully put together pieces of clothing.
What is still your biggest challenge?
Consistency. I struggle with being consistent on the blog however, challenges are there to be overcome and I am working towards overcoming this challenge.
What’s your best advice for handling criticism?
Don’t get angry, stay calm and learn from it.
What’s next for you?
Good question. I have a few projects I am working on both for my blog MoreGraca.com
as well as for my online store MoreGraca Finds( IG: more_graca_finds). The aim is to grow it, make sure my clients are happy with the pieces they get from me and ensure that they are forever stylish with my styling tips.
What do you want your legacy to be? How do you want to be remembered?
Wow. I guess the name says it all. Grace, More Grace, More Graca.
